Sketch portrait of Indian male

Will my identity be revealed?

So if I decide to report this, to take this to the committee, how do you make sure my identity remains anonymous? Because I can be right, or I can just fake it- it can also be a fake case. So, will my identity be revealed to the other person? If not, how will the research be conducted and how will the investigation be conducted?

Recommendations

  • Address concern around wrongful accusations while developing new policies or training materials.

  • In the policy itself and in materials and presentations promoting the policy, define "confidential" and "anonymous," and explain how these concepts pertain to the policy, university-based sexual assaault services, and the limits on confidentiality and anonymity.
